The 18th Jenisch family reunion was held on July 23 at the Claflin Community Center. All the descendants of Joseph and Frances Jenisch were invited. Hosts for the event were Joe Jenisch’s family.

Their 11 children, Arthur, Joseph, Albert, Frank, Gertrude (Gerritzen), Olivia (Debes), Frances (Zorn), Anna (Boor), Hilda (Ille), Mary (Wondra), Eleanore (Ille) are all deceased. However about 73 generation of descendants were present. A covered dish dinner with family favorites was held at noon. Time was spend remembering deceased relatives including the nine family members that passed since the last reunion two years ago. Door prizes were given away. 

It was noted to have another reunion in two years.
