Duane and Sharon Lanterman will celebrate their 45th anniversary today. 

Sharon Chestnut and Duane Lanterman were united in marriage on Feb. 14, 1976 at the Bergthal Mennonite Church in Pawnee Rock. Duane was employed for 30 years at the local Radio Shack. Sharon was employed for 20 years at Golden Belt Home Health and Hospice. The couple have two children, David and Misty Lanterman of Great Bend and Lisa Lanterman and Ron Mies of Kingman; and five grandchildren, Cody and Parker Lanterman and Paige, Kylee and Brody Harman.

The couple celebrated with family and have plans a trip in the fall to South Dakota.
