FEELSVILLE I have no clever anecdote or related story to go along with this video. All I have is a heart and the excuse that something was in my eye.
This father and grandfather was celebrating his 66th birthday with his family when he got a pair of glasses as a gift. May not seem like much, but these were a special pair of glasses. The man's family bought him EnChroma glasses, which help a colorblind person see colors. And it just so happens that this man is colorblind and hasn't experienced color in his 66 years here on this earth.
The moment the man puts on the special pair of glasses, he is immediately overwhelmed and can't even speak. It's a beautiful moment, and it's hard not to get choked up when you see it.
I love watching this video and seeing his reaction along with the reaction of his family. I do have to laugh, however, as the man who has never experienced color runs inside to see color on a TV, but I admit that the "Angry Birds Movie" has some pretty vivid colors.
Anyway, I'm giving him a hard time, this is a great video and the kind I love sharing.
