The Prairie Window Concert Series is back for its eighth year at Dyck Arboretum and its 25th year as a continuation of the Old Settler’s Inn Series in Moundridge. The concert series provides participants a unique experience of great music and locally-sourced gourmet food in a prairie garden setting.
Included in the line-up are Woody Russell on Oct. 9, Tim O’Brien at 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 21, Joe Crookston on Nov. 6, Harpeth Rising on Dec. 4, Liz Longley on Jan. 15, Molly Tuttle on Feb. 12, Old Man Luedecke on April 9, and The Steel Wheels at 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 6 at The Orpheum Theatre in Wichita.
All concerts are scheduled for Sunday at 4 p.m. at the Dyck Arboretum of the Plains at 177 West Hickory in Hesston, unless otherwise noted.
Season tickets are now available, with a special early bird discount through September. Those who purchase season tickets by Sept. 30, will not only receive seating preference throughout the series, but also receive one free show. New season ticket holders are given best available seating on a first-come, first-served basis.
Single-concert tickets will go on sale in October. Dyck Arboretum members receive a 10 percent discount on all tickets.
