Melvin Richter will celebrate his 94th birthday Sept. 21 with a card shower.  

Melvin was born on Sept. 21, 1929, in Otis. Melvin and his wife Ellen owned and operated the local Tom’s food distributorship until retirement. Melvin is a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Albert.
