Nancy Workman, former of Great Bend resident, will celebrate her 80th birthday on Feb. 9 with a card shower. 

Nancy was born on Feb. 9, 1941. She married Larry Workman. He died in 2009. A resident of Great Bend, she owned Workman Greener Lawn Service for 14 years. She retired in 2009 from Dillons/Kroger after 25 years as a florist. She has four children, Larry Workman, Lance (Cheryle) Workman, Lori (David) Lewis and Lynn Workman; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
