Members of the Great Bend Garden Club met on Dec. 16 at the Great Bend Senior Center. Jeannine Girton was hostess and program leader. She reviewed the history of the Christmas tree and read several of her favorite Christmas poems.  Members discussed upcoming program ideas. A door prize drawing was held with Jana Reed and Teresa Bachand winning poinsettia plants.  The next meeting will be Jan. 20 at the Senior Center with Nancy Williams, program leader, and Sharon East, hostess.
