At the recent Preceptor Pi Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi meeting members continued the twice monthly donation of fruit to the USD 428 Weekend Backpack program. Plans were announced for the Queen’s Luncheon in February. Members will meet at The Page on Feb. 6 for the luncheon and then go to the Farmers Bank meeting room where this year’s Valentine Queen will be announced following the regular meeting. Service Committee Chairwoman Karen Reif will bring samples of containers for members to decorate and fill with candy as Easter gifts for the residents of Riverbend. The Social Committee hosted the monthly social at Perkins with, of course, pie.

Brenda Black read an article entitled “The Best Gift I Ever Got” after which members shared about some of their favorite gifts – given or received. Jeri Brozek offered a program on nutrition.
