Preceptor Pi, Beta Sigma Phi, started the 2021-2022 sorority year by joining Xi Delta Upsilon chapter, who hosted the Beginning Day Social on Aug. 24 at the First Congregational Church.

The Chapter’s first regular meeting of the year was held on Tuesday, Sept. 7 at the Farmer’s Bank Community Room. Janis Link served as hostess. Service Chairman Jeri Brozek reported a generous donation was given to the Stuff the Bus project. Susan Coulson presented a program about the 20th Anniversary of 9/11.

Preceptor Pi met again on Tuesday, Sept. 21, at the Farmer’s Bank Community Room. Hostess Brenda Black provided refreshments. Social Chairman Karen Reif reminded members of lunch at the Gather in Ellinwood at 11:30 p.m. on Sept. 29. Brenda Black presented a program about the symbols and their meaning on the one dollar bill. Every member was given an uncirculated one dollar bill.

The next meeting will be at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 5, in the Community Room at Farmer’s Bank.
