Don and Marlene Regehr of Great Bend announce the engagement of their daughter Allison to Cavanaugh Newman, son of Phil and Mimi Newman of Rose Hill.  

The bride-elect is a 2017 graduate of Great Bend High School and a 2020 graduate of Wichita State University. She is employed by American Senior Benefits in Olathe.  

The prospective groom is a 2018 graduate of Rose Hill High School and will graduate from the University of Kansas this May with a degree in Music Theory and Composition.  

The couple plans a June 4 wedding at Camp Horizon in Arkansas City.
