Private Gage M. Reimer successfully completed 13 weeks of intensive basic training at MCRD San Diego as one of 45 recruits in Training Platoon 1051. 

While in recruit training, Private Reimer was awarded the Meritorious Mast Award for outstanding service including distinguishing himself as the most physically fit marine in the series. Following ten days home on leave he will report to Camp Pendleton for Infantry School. Private Reimer will be stationed at a Private Duty Station following training.

He is the son of Mike and Sherry Reimer of Great Bend.
