Mauler Reunion

Descendants of the Joseph and Johann Mauler families gathered for their biannual family reunion on Aug. 28, at the Great Bend Senior Center, with Gerald and Lois Mauler and families as hosts.
Everyone enjoyed a pot luck dinner at 12:30 p.m., while the afternoon was spent playing games, taking pictures and visiting. Helen Stos won the prize for the oldest being 87 years old; Charles and LaJune Gustin won the prize for the longest married couple of 57 years; the ones traveling the farthest were Kenneth and Patty Mauler from Shawnee; Jamie Stos won the prize for being the youngest of 18 months.

The next reunion will be held the last Sunday in August, 2013, with Paul and Teddi Maneth, Larry and Karel Maneth and Ed and Sharon Mauler as hosts.
