The Otis Rural High School class of 1960 held their 50th reunion on Aug. 21 at the Highland Hotel in Great Bend.
Those attending were Kathleen Bittner Damon and Don, Gaylene Dietz Zehr, Emanual Mac Dumler, Larry Dumler, Don Hanhardt and Marty, Vivian Jurgensen Richardson and Gene, Julia Koch Fraser, Merrily Karst McCamey, Sally Evelyn Krestine Medlock, Judy Legleiter Weiser, Patti Miller Brock and Bob, Charlotte Ochs Schneider, Diane Rabenseifner Zink and Virgil, Mary Ann Schreiber Shaft, Victor Poe, Larry Ackerman and former teacher, Richard Connell and Bonnie.
After their meal, upper and lower classmates of Otis High joined the class for an evening of reminiscing and renewing friendships. On Sunday several of the classmates toured their old school building at Otis and enjoyed seeing the changes that have taken place since 1960 and remembering the times spent there during their years of attending.
