The Great Bend Senior Center Advisory Council is a volunteer group whose purpose is to work for the development of programs, including diversified programming to meet the needs of local senior citizens, 50 years of age and over. The Advisory Council is responsible for social events such as the monthly pot luck dinners, ice cream social and weekly coffee and donuts held on Tuesday mornings.

The council would appreciate volunteers who are willing to give a few hours a month to the community and are capable of assisting men and women in achieving a better living experience. To volunteer to join the Advisory Council and share in the growth of patrons and the Senior Center, call 792-3906.
