Cooper Hosman

Student Library Assistant Gracyn Dombroski will be focusing on different Ellinwood High School seniors throughout the year to spotlight, and this will be featured in our Check It Out column. Today we have two Senior Spotlights, Morgan Shinliver and Cooper Hosman.

Morgan is a senior at EHS. Her family members are Austin Shinliver, Casey Shinliver, and Craig Shinliver. Her favorite book is the Bible because it is the best book in the world. It is also the number 1 best seller of all time. Her favorite quote is, “How loving yourself is how you teach others to love you.” – Rupi Kaur.

Some things that Morgan is involved in at EHS are basketball and softball. She is also in STUCO and Kay. Her favorite teacher is Mrs. Moore because she is super laid back and super nice to everyone. After graduation, Morgan is planning on going to Barton to get her LPN, then her RN, and then further her education to become a pediatric nurse. We wish Morgan a great year in her senior chapter!

Cooper is a senior at EHS. His  family members are Jennifer, Drew, Gage, and Drake. His favorite book is “The Hunger Games” series.

His favorite quote is “Nothing is certain except debt and taxes” — Benjamin Franklin. Cooper is involved in football, basketball and baseball. He also has done Skills USA for one year and is doing FBLA this year. His favorite teacher is Mrs. Fischer because she is fun, he has had her as a teacher since seventh grade, and he has a really good relationship with her.

Cooper’s plans after graduation are to go to Barton and also try out internships at plumbing companies and then hopefully go to a college to further his education in the field. We wish Cooper a great year in his senior chapter!
