Adam and Janice Showalter of Alexander announce the engagement of their daughter, Emma Marie, to Ryan James Webs, the son of James and Leann Webs of Alexander. Emma is the granddaughter is Patricia Showalter of Bazine, Lee Showalter of Alexander, and the late Ervin and Helen Koerner. Ryan is the grandson of Lela Mae Keller of Great Bend, the late Lynn Keller, and the late Lawrence and Floy Leota Webs.  

The bride-elect is a graduate of La Crosse High School. She earned her bachelor’s degree in science with a minor in music from Washburn University in Topeka. She currently is employed as the Director of Youth Ministry for the Catholic Diocese of Dodge City. 

The prospective groom is a graduate of La Crosse High School and Kansas State University, Manhattan, earning a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He is employed by the SJN Bank, La Crosse as a loan officer.   

The wedding is planned for April 23, 2022, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ness City.
