The Sons of the Pioneers coming to McPherson

McPHERSON – The Sons of the Pioneers will take the McPherson Opera House stage at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Formed in 1934, The Sons of the Pioneers revolutionized cowboy music with powerful harmonies and vivid Western imagery. Led by Roy Rogers (then Leonard Slye), Bob Nolan, and Tim Spencer, the group’s enduring lineup has gained a vast following. The Pioneers are the most acclaimed group in Western music, with numerous honors including the Country Music Hall of Fame, Western Music Association Hall of Fame, and more.
