Trinity Lutheran Church

The pews in the sanctuary of Trinity Lutheran Church are draped with 52 colorful quilts created over the past year by the Trinity Quilters. They’ll be shipped to Lutheran World Relief in Minnesota and then will be sent all over the world. With these quilts and other gifts, members of Trinity Lutheran will reach out to people in their time of greatest need with a strong message of hope. Along with 52 quilts, Trinity Quilters will send 80 school bags filled with supplies, 24 health kits filled with hygiene items and eight fabric kits.

Those who attend church services on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 14 and 15, will see the colorful display. Pastor Jay Welshonse will bless the quilts and kits during the services at 5 p.m. Saturday and 10:30 a.m. Sunday.
