Emma Marie Showalter and Ryan James Webs were united in marriage on April 23, 2022, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ness City with Father Wesley Schawe and Father Ted Stoecklein officiating. Parents of the couple are Adam and Janice Showalter and James and Leann Webs, all of Alexander. Grandparents of the bride are Patricia Showalter of Bazine, Lee Showalter of Alexander and the late Ervin and Helen Koerner. Grandparents of the groom are Lela Mae Keller of Great Bend, the late Lynn Keller and the late Lawrence and Floy Leota Webs.

Matron of honor was Katie Flax, sister of the bride. Maid of honor was Elizabeth Showalter, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Katie Schieferecke and Jessi Williams.

Best man was Austin Webs, brother of the bride. Groomsmen were Jeremy Morgan, Richard Hodges and Kody Bruns.

The bride is a graduate of LaCrosse High School. She earned her bachelor’s degree in science with a minor in music from Washburn University in Topeka. She is employed as the Director of Youth Ministry for the Catholic Diocese of Dodge City.

The groom is a graduate of LaCrosse High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He is employed as a farmer/stockman in rural Rush County

After a honeymoon to Jamaica, the couple resides in Nekoma.
