Corinna Jo Hickel and Adam Michael Demel were united in marriage on July 26, at Immaculate Conception Church in Claflin in a double-ring ceremony officiated by Father John Forkuoh. Parents of the couple are Doug and Karen Hickel of Claflin and Mike and Sandy Demel
of Hoisington. Grandparents of the bride are Alice Bednasek of Holyrood and the late Vernon Bednasek, and Betty Hickel of Claflin and the late Robert Hickel. Grandparents of the groom are Clarence and Joann Bieberle and Lawrence and Sidone Demel, all of Hoisington. The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Maid of honor was Samantha Hickel, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Holly Ney, Natalie Zink, Sarah Stueder, Kiley Demel, sister of the groom, and Krystal Hickel, sister-in-law of the bride.
Best men were Michael Stueder and Turner Polzin. Groomsmen were Ryan Hoffman, Dylan Demel Alex Claudell, and Dustin Hickel, brother of the bride.
Flower girl was Lainey Lock, cousin of the groom. Ringbearers were Hagen and Huxten Hickel, nephews of the bride.
Ushers were Alex Lomas, Justin Martin, Michael Richards and Kreyton Demel, cousin of the groom.
Candlelighters were Brittany Overmiller, cousin of the bride and Sydney Rugan, cousin of the groom.

The bride is a 2009 graduate of Claflin High School. She graduated from Kansas State University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. She is employed as a first grade teacher at USD #431 in Hoisington.
The groom is a 2008 graduate of Hoisington High School. He graduated from Kansas State University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agribusiness. He is self-employed in farming.
After a honeymoon in Negril, Jamaica, the couple reside in Hoisington.
