Mallory Kay Prather and Ben Gaeth were united in marriage on June 18 at St. Teresa Catholic Church in Hutchinson in a double ring ceremony officiated by the Rev. Nicholas Voelker. Parents of the couple are Wayne and Carol Prather and Randall and Teresa Gaeth. Grandparents of the bride are William and Dorothy Stoss of Great Bend.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a satin, strapless trumpet gown with an accented ribbon waist. She carried a bouquet of variegated red, orange and yellow tulips,and lilies.
Maid of honor was Kelsey Hladek of Hays. Bridesmaids were Chelsey Mathias of Hugoton, Janel Prather of Sterling, Elizabeth Emerson of Independence, and Haley Webster of Wichita.
Best man was Sam Gaeth of Solon, Ohio. Groomsmen were Mark Sellers of Louisville, Kent., Brian Reynolds of Rocky River, Ohio, Max Warner of Tampa, Fla., and Keaton Prather of Sterling.
Organist was Cindy Anthony of Sterling. Vocalist was Janie Brokenicky of Manhattan. Violinist was Lisa Mitchell of Hutchinson.
The bride is a graduate of Sterling High School. She graduated from Fort Hays State University with a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in sports administration. She is employed by the city of Tampa Parks and Recreation as a center coordinator.
The groom is a graduate of Solon High School in Solon, Ohio. He graduated from Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in education and from Fort Hays State University with a master’s degree in sports administration. He is employed by Blake High School as a teacher and coaches football at Hillsborough High School, both in Tampa, Fla.
