Mr. and Mrs. Lorg

Emily Dyanne Schuster and Joshua Thomas Lorg were united in marriage on Dec. 6, at the Hotel Phillips in downtown Kansas City in a ceremony officiated by Pastor Nathan Miller of Christ Community Church, Olathe Campus. The bride is the daughter of Paul and Sue Schuster of Lawrence. She is the granddaughter of Ruby Schuster of Garnett and the late Paul Schuster, and the late Mr. and Mrs. G.E. Lilly. The groom is the son of John and Lori Lorg of Olathe. He is the grandson of Ross and Pat Chambliss of Overland Park and Leo Lorg of Wichita.  
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a dress by Maggie Sottero, Bronwyn of lace and tulle. It was a slim line gown with V-neckline and cap-sleeves, featuring a separate light gold slip gown of Vogue satin. The open back was finished with a row of satin covered buttons. Her bouquet was made from hydrangea and light pink spray rose stem with Vendela roses and Queen Anne’s lace. A pearl necklace was woven through the bouquet in remembrance of the bride’s grandmother, Doris Lilly. She wore her mother’s pearls as a bracelet.  
Matron of honor was Katie Havelka of Springfield, Mo. Bridesmaids were Jamie Evans of Lenexa and Jill Miller of Olathe.  
Best man was Bryan Haeusser of St. Louis, Mo. Groomsmen were John Ross Lorg, brother of the groom, and Jordan Hilgers of Denver, Colo.  
Flower girls were Natalie Strawder of Burlington and Aurora Wilhelm of Edwardsville, Ill., both nieces of the bride.  
Ringbearers were Luke and Zachary Nielsen of Mount Vernon Wash., nephews of the groom.
Ushers were Jeremy Aber, brother-in-law of the bride, of Murfreesboro, Tenn.,  Jeff Givens of Colorado Springs, Colo., Nick Jerkovich of Olathe and Bill Steinke of Lake Lotawana, Mo.
Candlelighter was Madison Strawder-Coursen, niece of the bride, of Burlington.  
The bride is a graduate of Larned High School and the University of Kansas, with a degree in Marketing and International Business. She is the office manager at Clinical Psychology Practice LLC in Prairie Village.
The groom is a graduate of Saint Thomas Aquinas High School of Overland Park and the University of Kansas School of Business and Entrepreneurship.  He is employed  as the Microsoft Dynamic Project Lead of ATK, formerly Bushnell, of Overland Park.
The couple enjoyed a honeymoon in San Juan, Puerto Rico and will make their home in Olathe.
