Alexandria ‘Dee’ Burnett and Scott Edward Schneider were united in marriage on August 15, at St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Pittsburgh, Pa. in a double ring ceremony officiated by Father Nicholas Mastrangelo and Father Mark Thomas. Parents of the couple are Timothy and Barbara Burnett of Pittsburgh, Pa. and LaVern and Elaine Schneider of Albert. Grandparents of the bride are the late John and Dolores Burnett. Grandparents of the groom are Edward and Cordula Werth of Park, and the late Francis and Lois Schneider.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Maid of honor was Rachel Burnett, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Stephanie Reif and Kassie Richman, both sisters of the bride and Caitlin Morgan.
Best men were Douglas Schneider and Jason Schneider, both brothers of the groom. Groomsmen were Alec Schneider and Trey Schneider, both nephews of the groom and Adam Rayburg.
Ushers were Scott Richman and Brian Reif brothers-in-law of the bride and Cade Schneider nephew of the groom.
The bride is a 2007 graduate of North Hills High School in Pittsburgh, Pa. In 2012 she graduated from Robert Morris University in Moon Township, Pa. with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is employed at Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa. in the intensive care unit. She is planning to pursue a degree as a nurse practitioner.
The groom is a 2006 graduate of Great Bend High School. In 2011 he graduated from Robert Morris University with a bachelor’s degree in business and in 2014 he graduated from RMU with a master’s degree in organizational leadership. He is employed at Robert Morris University as the assistant women’s basketball coach.
After spending their honeymoon on the island of Aruba, the couple resides in Pittsburgh. Pa.
