The annual Cheyenne Bottoms Wildlife Area information night will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, at the Kansas Wetland Education Center. The Ed Center is located northeast of Great Bend on Highway 156 in the southeast portion of the Wildlife Area.
Topics include current conditions at the Bottoms, presentations on this years waterfowl populations, dove banding efforts, migratory bird hunting season dates, planned work on the inlet canal from the Arkansas River and prospects for the pheasant season in southwest Kansas.
The meeting is free and open to the public.
