Surrendered Family Ministries is sponsoring a free program Thursday in observance of the National Day of Prayer. The public is invited to the event, which starts at 7 p.m. at the Crest Theater, 1905 Lakin Ave.

An interdenominational, area-wide choir has been practicing and will lead the singing. The speaker will be Joseph Ametepe with Yesuli International Ministries. A sign-language interpreter will be available.
