Auditions for Barton Community College’s fall play, "Mass Appeal," by Bill C. Davis, are scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday in the Dorothy Moses Morrison Chapel, located in Barton’s Fine Arts Building, F-157.

The script calls for two male actors. Technical positions including costuming, stage manager and lighting will also be assigned. Community members as well as Barton students are welcome to audition.

Barton Theater Director Erin Renard will direct the play. Performances are set for Nov. 19 and 20 in the Dorothy Moses Morrison Chapel.

"Mass Appeal" is a funny yet compassionate play that had a long and critically hailed Broadway run, Renard said. The play explores the conflict between an established senior priest, Tim Farley, and the impassioned young seminarian, Mark Dolson, who challenges the validity of Father Farley’s well-routined regimen.
