Barton Community College is sponsoring a student video contest open to all BCC students and to high school seniors in Barton, Ellsworth, Pawnee, Rice, Rush, Russell and Stafford counties. Parental consent is required for those under 18 years of age.

Videos must be 1-3 minutes long and will be judged on adherence to the theme, "What drives you at Barton?" They will also be judged on creativity and originality, editing and story structure, and multimedia skills.

File types that will be accepted are .avi .wmv .mpeg and .mov. Contestants should mail a DVD or flash drive to: Barton Community College; Attn: Video Contest; 245 NE 30 RD; Great Bend, KS 67530, or deliver it to the Classroom Building C-129.

Contact information – name, phone and e-mail – needs to be incorporated into the video.

The videos must be the original work of the entrant(s), and will become the property of Barton Community College. Videos may or may not be used as promotional materials for the college.

The Barton Community College Foundation will provide up to three prizes: an iPad for first place, flip camera for second place and a $25 iTunes card for third place.
