BCC students to present recitals to kick off Performing Arts Student Showcase

Barton Community College will present a student recital of instrumental and vocal performances at 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30 in the Dorothy Moses Morrison Chapel, located in BCC’s Fine Arts Building, F-157.

Performers will be students of keyboard instructor Karole Erikson, voice instructor Glenna Gaunt and instrumental instructor Steve Lueth.

The recital will serve as a kick-off of sorts for the Performing Arts Student Showcase, which will run from 7-8:30 p.m. in the Fine Arts Auditorium There will be door prizes and three scholarships will also be dispersed at the event. One $1,000 scholarship and two $500 scholarships will be given away among attendees.

Admission to both events is free.
