The Barton Community College Board of Trustees will review management staff contracts and administrative contracts during the next board study session, at 4 p.m. Thursday in room F-30 of the Fine Arts Building. They will vote on renewals at the next business meeting.
Trustees will also hear about changing course requirements for the Medical Administrative Technology program and the Natural Gas program. The former Medical Assistant program is undergoing a statewide name change and curriculum changes; the proposed changes to the Natural Gas program are intended to meet the latest industry standards and training requirements.
Other items on Thursday’s agenda include a review of graduation; an update on “conceal and carry” legislation; and plans for a joint meeting with the Barton Foundation Board and Workforce Training Continuing Education partners in education. Trustees will continue their iPad training and view the latest financial report.
