The Barton Community College Board of Trustees will meet at 3:30 p.m. Thursday in room F-30 of the Fine Arts Building. Dr. Penny Quinn, vice president of instruction and student services, will present a report on academic advancement, and Bill Nash, dean of Fort Riley Technical Education & Military Outreach Training, will provide a presentation on Occupational Safety and Health Administration training certificates offered by the college.
The grand opening of the newly refurbished Fine Arts Auditorium will follow, from 5-7 p.m. Student performances and facility tours will be part of an Great Bend Chamber After-Hours social in the auditorium.
