A 29-year-old Hays man was injured Friday in a one-car accident on Interstate 70, nine miles west of Russell.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Scott A. Jerome was driving east at 11:33 p.m. and for unknown reasons the car, a 1979 Ford LTD, entered the median. It became airborne after hitting the median crossover, and then slid to a stop facing southwest.
Jerome was taken to Hays Medical Center with undetermined injuries.
