Trinity United Methodist Church is conducting a Community Coat Redistribution. The first part of the project, coat collection, ends Sept. 1-21. Karla Essmiller at Trinity United Methodist said community members are encouraged to bring gently used coats and jackets to one of the collection points: Trinity United Methodist Church, 5700 Broadway Ave. (Broadway and Patton Road); any Great Bend USD 428 school; or Master Cleaners, 4600 10th St. Place. Master Cleaners will clean the coats at no charge. No fur or leather should be donated.
The free distribution of coats will take place the morning of Saturday, Sept. 28, at the church.
