College trustees to review funding proposal at study session
A proposal that could affect state funding for community and technical colleges will be discussed when the Barton Community College Board of Trustees meets at 4 p.m. Thursday in room U-219, on the upper level of the Student Union.
The board’s monthly study session will included the Technical Education Authority’s funding proposal to the Kansas Board of Regents.
Other items on the agenda are: grant update from Student Support Services; employee benefits review; student transportation; financial statement from Dean Mark Dean; review agreement with EduKan; review trustee recruitment brochure; discuss timeframe of institutional strategic planning; and guidelines for employee bonuses.
