Crime Stoppers of Great Bend and Barton County seeks information about last Saturday’s arson.

The fire at 802 Jefferson St. was set in two locations, Great Bend Police Chief Dean Akings said. The fire in the unoccupied house was discovered at 1:44 a.m. Saturday. Loss was estimated at $10,000, and the house was destroyed.

"A gold, four-door passenger car with three occupants was spotted in the area," Akings said. Anyone with information about this or any other crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers, 792-1300, or 1-888-305-1300 for toll-free calls outside of Great Bend.
