Commission on Aging, Barton County Farm Bureau and the Recreation Commission are sponsoring a Defensive Driving Class from 1-4 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 15-16, at the Great Bend Senior Center, 2005 Kansas Ave. The class is taught by Steve Billinger, an officer of the Kansas Highway Patrol. Most insurance companies will lower premiums for participants that receive certificates at the end of the class, sponsors said.
