A free program on the Kansas Wetlands Education Center and Cheyenne Bottoms will be presented at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the Barton County Historical Society museum.

The presenter will be Curtis Wolf, site manager at FHSU’s KWEC at Cheyenne Bottoms. The center was opened in April 2009 and is operated as a branch museum of Sternberg Museum of Natural History. Wolf will focus on the importance of Cheyenne Bottoms and will share pictures, video and recordings of some of the avian visitors that call the Bottoms home. He will also give an update about the KWEC.
