A Loraine man led law enforcement officers on a vehicular pursuit Saturday morning in Barton County.
The Barton County Sheriff’s Office reports deputies attempted to stop a 2004 Kia Sorento driven by Caleb Scott Swisher around 4:47 a.m. Saturday in the 100 block of NE 10 Ave. The pursuit ended in the 1400 block of NE 140 Road.
Swisher was arrested and booked into the Barton County Jail on charges of felony flee and elude, endangerment of a child, contributing to a child’s misconduct, criminal restraint, illegal transportation of liquor and multiple traffic infractions, in lieu of $5,000 bond. Two juveniles who had been in the vehicle with Swisher were also arrested.
The investigation is ongoing.
