A Wheatfield, Ind., man was injured in a one-vehicle accident at 12:30 a.m. Sunday in the 1300 block of Susank Road.
The Barton County Sheriff’s Office reports Peter A. Dean, 36, was driving south in a Mercury Grand Marquis when the car went off the road to the west, came back onto the road briefly and went off the road to the east, rolling one time and hitting a power pole. He drove away and later went to Clara Barton Hospital in Hoisington for his injuries.
Dean was later flown by helicopter to Via Christi Health’s St. Francis Hospital in Wichita. No information on his condition was available.
