Feist to share The Culture of Cranes at Activity Center

“The Culture of Cranes” is the title of a fee Stop ‘N Learn program that will be presented at noon Wednesday, Oct. 23, at the Great Bend Activity Center, 2715 18th St. Danielle Feist, assistant director of the Shafer Art Gallery at Barton Community College, will talk about the cultural symbolism, spirituality and traditions associated with cranes.
This one-hour program is hosted by the Great Bend Recreation Commission. The Shafer Gallery, in cooperation with the Kansas Wetlands Education Center, is exhibited the national juried shw, “Choreography of Cranes,” through Oct. 31.
