Barton County Extension Agent Donna Krug will present “Food Allergy Facts of Life” at two free programs this week.
The Great Bend Recreation Commission will host the Stop ‘N Learn programs from noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 22, at the Great Bend Activity Center, 2715 18th St., and again at 1 p.m. Friday at the Senior Center, 2005 Kansas Ave.
Living with food allergies is challenging for people of all ages, says Krug, a family and consumer science agent. And learning to recognize a food allergy or food sensitivity is as important as learning how to live with it. During this program, participants will explore ways to better manage their health and avoid trigger foods.
