Free program on diet and diabetes set for Monday

Debbie Tillotson, dietitian at Ellinwood Hospital, will present "Eat Well, Live with Diabetes," at 1 p.m. Monday at the Great Bend Senior Center, 2005 Kansas Ave. During this free program she will talk about how to better manage blood sugar levels by controlling carbohydrate intake, food portion control and exercise. She will also discuss some of the latest findings regarding resistant starches and recommendations regarding artificial sweetener intake.
