The Great Bend Recreation Commission will be hosting a free Stop ‘N Learn Session titled, “Wildlife of the Cheyenne Bottoms II” from 12 to 1 p.m. on Wednesday at the Great Bend Activity Center, 2715 18th. This program will also be held starting at 1 p.m. on Friday, at the Senior Center, 2005 Kansas Ave. Come out to the sequel of the highly popular Wildlife of the Cheyenne Bottoms and see beautiful images from a local, renowned wildlife photographer. Also learn unique behaviors and interesting facts about critters that live at Cheyenne Bottoms. This presentation will include breathtaking pictures and information about a wide array of animals, including birds, mammals and many more. Live animals will also be on hand. Dr. Dan Witt, Wildlife Photographer, and Eric Giesing, KWEC/FHSU Educator, will be the presenters for this program.
