GED prep course starts March 11

Individuals wishing to pursue their General Educational Development diploma will have an opportunity to brush up on their knowledge soon.
Barton Community College is offering a GED Prep course beginning March 11. Classes are held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. The course lasts nine weeks and costs only $50 to cover materials.
Interested students must first attend an orientation at the Center for Adult Education, 1025 Main Street in Great Bend.  The next orientation times are 9 a.m. March 4-7.
For those ready to take their GED exam now, the next test dates are April 1, 3 and 29 and May 1, 15 and 20. March is an “open” month when testing can be scheduled by request.
