Great Bend churches are offering their own versions of Halloween fun this Saturday and on Oct. 31:
• The First Christian Church, 5230 Broadway, will host a Trunk or Treat for kids from 4-6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27.  Children are welcome to come in costume and trick or treat from car to car in the church parking lot.
• Grace Community Church, 210 McKinley, will host Trunk or Treat on Halloween, beginning at 6 p.m. Kids are invited to “trunk or treat” at the decorated cars in the church parking lot.  Bowls of soup will also be available for 10 cents each. Bring the family for a safe evening of fun and candy.
• The Thr3Elements youth group at Cross Point Church will be at 3100 Broadway Ave. and will hand out candy from 6-8 p.m. on Halloween. Youth pastor Randy Mills said the youth group will also be performing a short skit, “Zombie - Becoming the Undead,” throughout the evening.
