Golden Belt Home Health & Hospice (GBHH&H) will sponsor a Monday evening grief support group in Great Bend from Sept. 12 through Nov. 14. It will meet each Monday, except Oct. 31, from 6:30-8 p.m. in the Thelma Faye Harms Room on the basement level of St. Rose Ambulatory & Surgery Center, 3515 Broadway.

Hospice Chaplain John Grummon and GBHH&H Social Worker Cathy Soeken will co-facilitate the support group. "Guided by qualified facilitators, group members will provide support and healing for one another," Grummon said. "This group setting becomes a safe place to share while doing the important work of mourning and learning new ways to approach problems."

All discussions are confidential, Soeken added. "Participants can feel free to share their feelings, thoughts and experiences. Sharing memories, photos, poetry or other significant mementos is welcome and encouraged. This is a good way to allow other group members the opportunity to know more about the loved ones being mourned."

For more information, contact Grummon by calling 620-792-8171.
