The Great Bend Recreation Commission will host a free Stop ‘N Learn Session on container and small space gardening” from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, May 9, at the Great Bend Activity Center, 2715 18th St. The program will also be held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 10, at the Senior Center, 2005 Kansas Ave.
Alicia Boor, agriculture and natural resources extension agent in Barton County, will be the present information about ways to garden in containers and small spaces.
