The Holy Family School Back to School Bash: We are Family, starts at 7 p.m. Friday at the Knights of Columbus in Great Bend.
Tickets are $25 per person, which provides entrance to the event, one free drink and appetizers. HFS Principal Karen Moeder said this is a time to celebrate the new school year with socializing, a live auction and a silent auction. Proceeds help support the school.
The event is sponsored by the Holy Family School Council. Tickets may be purchased from any Holy Family School teacher or council member, or the school office, 4200 Broadway Ave.
Some of the items included for the live auction include a  24-inch flat screen TV; four KSU football tickets with parking pass; a stone table donated by 1st Grade A and child inspired artwork donated by 1st Grade B; Winter Park condo package; Coco Key resort package; and a cajun feast for 15.
