Barton Community College closed for holidays

Barton Community College offices are closed for holiday break. All offices will reopen Wednesday, Jan. 2.  Spring semester classes will begin Monday, Jan. 14.

Library hours announced

The Great Bend Public Library will be closed Dec. 23-25 and Dec. 30 through Jan. 1. The library will be open regular hours all other days during this holiday season. The library’s Food for Fines continues through Dec. 29. Patrons may bring in one non-perishable food item for the Barton County Food Bank for every $1 in fines on library materials. This will cover late fines as well as fees for lost and damaged items. Food may be dropped off inside the library anytime during library hours.
