The Rice County Historical Society Coronado Quivira Museum is seeking photographs of and items from old hotels in Rice County. Photographs and items are needed by Oct. 8th. The photographs and items will be used in an exhibit “Places to Stay.” The photographs and photographed copies of items will be incorporated into a traveling exhibit between Oct. 8 and Oct. 18. This is the first traveling exhibit to be created by the museum staff. The exhibit will be available to schools, civic groups, banks, community festivals, and assisted living facilities.
