Jewelry stolen during burglary

Jewelry valued at $9,400 when a Great Bend residence was burglarized earlier this month, Police Chief Dean Akings said. There was no forced entry into the residence, located at 3727 22nd St., but construction was being performed there. Sometime during the period of Feb. 6-8, unknown persons entered and took goal and diamond earrings, a gold ring with ruby stone, a gold ring with a cluster of diamonds, two other gold rings and a gold necklace.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers, 792-1300 or 888-305-1300. Information that leads to an arrest or recovery of property may be eligible for a cash reward, and all tips make to Crime Stoppers are given anonymously.
